Mushroom Compost
Mushroom Compost is made of the compost which mushrooms have been grown in. The addition of this organic matter helps the soil to retain moisture, while also serving as a fertiliser for plants. Mushroom Compost is not guaranteed to be aged or composted, so be aware it can be very alkaline, especially when fresh, which can be harmful to some plants. Mushroom compost is not recommended for some native plants and for azaleas and camellias.
